TRIPLE MOON CANDLE SNUFFER

This Black candle snuffer features a printed Triple Moon symbol on both sides of the hinged bell.

Candle Snuffers are used to put out candles. There are several practical reasons for using a snuffer and not simply blowing it out these include:

• It stops wax blowing everywhere
• Snuffing a candle reduces the smell that lingers after
• Blowing out a candle in a container can push the wick and soot into the wax.

It is also said that it is disrespectful to blow out a candle as it is seen as using the element of air to defeat the element of fire. Pinching the Wick or using a candle snuffer is said to be the best way to put out a candle.
